Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Last updated: Sep 27th, 2026

California consumers may opt out of the “sale” of their personal information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The CCPA broadly defines “sale” such that it may include allowing third parties to receive certain information to deliver personalized advertising.

For Ostrich VPN, we do not “sell” (as defined by the CCPA) your personal information for personalized advertising. The free version of our iOS app may show non-personalized ads via Google AdMob (configured with non-personalized request signals). These ads do not receive your VPN browsing traffic. You can remove ads by upgrading to Premium.

We also do not sell or share VPN browsing content (the websites or apps you use through a VPN connection) with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers for cross-app tracking of your traffic.

Limited product analytics (for example connection or configuration success) may be processed by trusted providers such as GameAnalytics to improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. That processing is not a sale of your VPN browsing content.

How to Record a Do Not Sell Preference

Even though we do not sell personal information for personalized advertising, you may still record a preference or ask questions:

Please note that we do not require users to create accounts in order to use the free versions of our VPN products. Because of this, we often cannot identify such users by email address or username. Describe your request as clearly as you can (for example app name, approximate region, and device type).

We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
